# Monk.trade

> Research US stocks, ETFs and futures in ChatGPT and Claude: prices, charts, scans, SEC filings, insider trades, financials and news in one question.

Monk.trade is a remote MCP server for stock research. Open the Monk.trade plugin in ChatGPT, or add the server URL https://monk.trade/mcp in Claude or another app that supports remote MCP over HTTP and OAuth, then sign in with the six-digit code Monk.trade emails you. Ask in plain English and start with “Using Monk.trade, …” so your AI uses its tools. Every match links to the bars, filings or news behind it.

- Research only: Monk.trade is a research tool. It never places orders or tells you what to buy.
- Free plan: 20 successful queries a UTC day, reset at 00:00 UTC, on daily bars, with no card required. Saving or editing queries needs Pro.
- Pro plan: $49 a month or $468 a year, plus any tax: unlimited queries within fair use, 5-minute to 4-hour bars with premarket and afterhours, and saved queries with version history. Pro is sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant of record. Monk.trade is made by LabStack LLC. Details: https://monk.trade/pricing. Your AI app may require a paid plan.
- Refunds: we refund your first Pro payment, or a yearly renewal, in full if you ask within 14 days. Monthly renewals and partly used periods are not refunded, and a refund ends Pro immediately. Policy: https://monk.trade/terms.
- Freshness: ask for timestamps and warnings. Data may be missing, delayed or stale.
- Permissions: read is required to view market data and run queries. Optional write access creates, edits and deletes your saved queries on Pro. Neither permission allows trading or orders.
