What counts
An 8-K reports important company events between regular financial reports. Item 2.02 covers results, 5.02 covers officer or director changes and pay, 1.01 covers material agreements, and 8.01 covers other events.
The rule Monk.trade uses: an 8-K containing item 5.02 in the last five sessions. Your AI can return the matching reports so you can read what changed.
Ask it

Limits
- Item 5.02 includes pay changes as well as appointments and departures.
- A report can contain several items; its number does not explain the event.
- The daily window starts when a report is available to the scan, which can be after its filing date.
- Missing reports leave some companies undecided; read the linked document for the details.
